Crazy Bitch Tea to get a MAKEOVER!!!

Yes, that's right! We are working on new packaging, and incorporating our brand new logo design. Instead of the current kraft bags containing 12 organic tea-baggies, we will be using a beautiful sage green rice paper bag, in two different sizes. A larger size, and a smaller size. Each tea-baggie will be sealed and placed with gentle care in the bags, without being incased in plastic, as it is now. The rice-paper bags will have a resealable zipper:).

Each of our bags will be more of a flat, gusseted bag, with a brilliantly designed logo and statement that reflects the personality of our lovely tea and it's creators. We will be unveiling our new look after the first of the year. Until then, please take advantage of our FREE shipping on all orders through the end of the year, so you can stock up on gifts for the holidays (or as a treat for yourself to get you THROUGH the holidays!!

BACK in Blogging Action!!

It has been several months since our last blog - 7 to be exact! We are now going to utilize our blog to announce Crazy Bitch Tea updates, have contests, tell amazing stories (YOUR stories), and special features!

I think it's also time to start sharing our journey forward, as we started to do , but like any new business, we got sidetracked. So much has happened since then! I have been working on getting our amazing company off the ground and reading articles and books on social media and building an empire until I feel like my eyes may literally pop out of my head! I am also still working a couple nights a week at Starbucks, more for the interaction that is much needed when one works from home. Balance is necessary! Robin has been busy with her jewelry business and kids, Christine is now full time at her paralegal job and kick butt Zumba instructor and has stepped back for the time being. Our spokesdude Keith (also Starbucks part-timer) , has been standing by......waiting for whatever is needed to be done:).

And like any start up company, there is a 'taking off' point! We have hit that point! It is TIME!

And so the blogging begins!!! Stay posted, for our new features starting soon (within the next month we will be announcing a new feature that will pay homage to women everywhere, one story at a time)!

The Crazy Bitch Tea Story

CRAZY BITCH TEA is a universal language of women. It is not just about tea. It started as a great brew, with an amazing and risky name, and an intention that this was going to turn into something amazing!

CRAZY BITCH TEA has been lovingly created with the intent to help and embrace ALL women, and now carries with it a global mission. Breaking down the barriers that divide us, empowering us to embrace and love the Crazy Bitch inside of us. The Crazy Bitch inside all women that makes us unique, powerful, beautiful, strong, an unstoppable force of love and generosity with a power like no other. We are all one!!!

As women we are called CRAZY BITCH when we decide to honor ourselves, to step outside the MOLD of what society says a “woman” should be or any other self-imposed limitations. IT is TIME to honor that CRAZY BITCH, be bold enough to step outside the box and it is TIME to honor the uniqueness and beauty that lies within every woman regardless of race, of religion, of financial status, celebrity or not, of physical limitations, of any other factors that appear to divide us…even oceans apart..we are united…we have the same needs, fears, desires, hopes and dreams, good days, and bad (CRAZY) days…and the world just became smaller.

The women behind CRAZY BITCH TEA each have a story, we are unique – once we were strangers, yet have formed an inseparable bond. The story begins with Robin Foley, the sister-in-law and co-founder of Crazy Bitch Tea having a day like we have all had… where she was feeling like a “Crazy Bitch” and seeking a solution. She contacted Lynn Higgin, her sister-in-law, now Founder and President of Crazy Bitch Tea, (also a Clinical Herbalist) for advice. The seed was planted. We needed to process this new venture for the perfect time to present itself, and almost a year later it came to fruition! Crazy Bitch Tea was born! Enter, Christine Robertson, now our Chief Happiness Officer, armed with unbridled passion and love for our Tea and our mission.

However, it was not until we created our CRAZY BITCH TEA Facebook Fanpage that we began to understand the NEED and the DESIRE ALL women have for a place to release her own CRAZY BITCH. We stumbled across that need quite by accident. We began hearing overwhelming feedback (even before people tasted our tea) where fans of the page would make comments like “I LOVE what you are doing” and “How can I help”! And they would buy the tea for the name, and story behind the name, and LOVED the unique blend with a very appealing taste. We were starting to realize what was happening. We knew we had something much bigger than the tea itself, that a mission and movement was forming!

We began to get feedback from women across the globe that the “tea” has saved them, empowered them, and inspired them to follow their dream and passion. We slowly realized we had created a beacon of understanding, a place where the language of “woman” was spoken, and being a CRAZY BITCH was to be respected and honored, and women would lighten up and giggle a little. The name has created quite a buzz. Women globally started embracing their own CRAZY BITCH and calling themselves: CB– Canada, CB– Australia, CB– Utah! We were floored as we watched this evolution before our eyes. We were creating a bond with the women nationally and internationally, just by the way we were communicating on a personal level to these women on our fanpage and website. We began an interaction that became a 'sisterhood' with all of the women that were buying our tea! A bond was created! Momentum was gathering at a pace that blew our minds.

Women everywhere want to be part of Crazy Bitch Tea's mission to empower women. To be part of an idea that helps bring harmony to the world around us, one sip at a time.

One male fan even wrote a review of the tea for us – we had not met him – but he loved what we were “doing” – and he LOVES the tea. Another idea was born!! This is where our CRAZY BITCH ‘Spokesdude’ Keith Sillivent entered the picture. Keith Sillivent is the male face of CRAZY BITCH TEA – helping men everywhere support and honor their women during their time of need, whether they were acting like a Crazy Bitch, or having a bad day, emotional upheaval, or just to show their support and understanding that they want to offer loving comfort to the women in their lives. Men have been joining the mission, alongside the women.

We took a risk with a name like Crazy Bitch Tea, all with the intent of gaining the attention to a plight women share everywhere!

We are stepping outside of the boundaries to get our message across any way we can. Women want to be part of our mission because all women want to feel like they are part of something amazing, that helps women, and how cool it is that women all over the country, are sipping our tea, knowing they are part of a bigger plan. We love what we have become and want to bring this to as many women globally as we can!!! With our tea, and our VISION!

A Tea that Sedates Even the Crazy

Never before has a description of a tea been so correct. There have been many attempts by many companies to develop a tea that is designed to 'sedate' the drinker, to bring a sense of calmness. Most, if not all, have

failed miserably. So it was with a cynical mind when I decided to brew up a cup of Crazy Bitch Tea.

The formulator, Lynn Higgin, obviously knew what she was doing when she created this concoction. "As a Clinical Herbalist, and Wholistic Kinesiologist, I used my skill in tea making to come up with the perfect blend of tea to bring balance, bliss and harmony to all of our beloved sisters out there-with a protective wing and an understanding that we stand by you in your time of need and comfort!"

I, not being a 'sister', thought that this would have absolutely no effect on me. I am a man! I can take anything you can throw at me! Boy, was I wrong...

Normal bed time for me is roughly 11-12 at night. I run several businesses from home, so it is impossible for me to not take my work home with me. So I wake up early, get on the grind, and go all day until it is time to pass out around midnight. However, this evening was different. Being the arrogant person I am, I decided to have a cup of Crazy Bitch around 8:30.

I let the tea steep at 175 degrees for about 5 minutes (well, it was actually 15...forgot I was making it!). The tea was delicious. Right off the bat I could really taste the chaste tree berries, cinnamon, and dandelion root. As the flavor unfolded, the rest of the ingredients both blended together and stood out on their own; an ideal mix. NOTE: I made sure that I wasn't pregnant, nursing, or had diarrhea before consuming.

I flipped on the TV to watch some of the recorded science shows I love to watch, and within 10 minutes, I could really feel the shroud of calmness surround me. I got the drowsy eyes a few minutes after that. And before I knew it, I was passed out, drooling all over the couch and its pillows. I awoke, startled, at about 5 in the morning, wondering what the hell happened. It was then I decided that from here on out, if I ever have a crazy bitch running around the house, I could just make a small cup, and all my problems will be solved.

We are now at the beginning stages of our journey to 'bring harmony to the world around us, one crazy bitch at a time'! And thanks to ALL of our AMAZING Facebook fans, for all of their help in spreading the word. We love them all!!

My Marketing Director, extraordinaire, Christine Robertson and I meet once a week, at our fabulously amazing eatery, Anna Purna Chai House. My awesome, extraordinary Creative Director, Robin Foley is in Pasadena, busily creating our business cards, finding outlets for packaging, ordering herbs, and keeping this Master Tea Blender from having a Master melt down when facing a tub full of herbs and filling 1500 bags of tea!

We bring our tea, store to store-with pure intent, and the assurance that we will be accepted with open arms. And we are right. As we make our journey, we are recording it on video-soon to be on a youtube channel for all to see. We are ourselves, so we forewarn you! It's sincerity, with hilarity - LOTS of hilarity! We believe business, should be fun-hysterically fun. We have a purpose. Our purpose is to help women, and in turn-we help men. It's the butterfly effect, only with tea!

As we go on our travels, wherever they bring us, we will tell the tales, bring you the latest news, shoot the soon to be viral videos, and launch our "BE SERENE" campaign to the world.

We will notify you as soon as we have our youtube channel, and the videos will be posted-and you can join our brigade to change all Crazy Bitches to Serenely Transformed, calm, peaceful goddesses! Just imagine............
